Applying for a French visa in Zambia

The consulate general of France in Johannesburg is the competent department for visa applications from Zambia.

Short stay visas (less than three months) for France, also known as Schengen visas, are done locally at the Embassy of Sweden in Lusaka.

Other types of visas

People residing in Zambia who wish to apply for a short stay visa in Overseas departments and regions (DROM) and in the communities and Overseas territories (CTOM) or for a long stay visa in France (longer than three months) are invited to submit their applications to the consulate general of France in Johannesburg.
